Listen to this powerful Healing Prayer from Pastor Charles Mellot
I also asked my pastor, David Hope, to lead you in a healing prayer:
Jesus wants you healed. All we have to do is ask and believe his word.
“And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the Sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.”(Mt 15:29-31)
You see, it’s the healing that glorifies God, sickness only glorifies the devil. You can still glorify God when you are sick but God is never glorified in sickness. Great multitudes came to Jesus and he healed them all. To me a multitude of people is as many people as the eye can see. A great multitude of people is more than that. Great multitudes are even more than that. Yet Jesus did not turn even one person away but healed them all.
Some people think that God won’t heal them because of some bad things they have done. Healing is for whosoever will receive it by faith. It is not based on performance. Don’t you think that in great multitudes that there is at least one person whose performance is worse than yours? Yet, Jesus healed them.
In great multitudes you will find every kind of person. You’ll find rich and poor, young and old, and every ethnic background. In great multitudes, there are educated people and those with no schooling, people from good families and people from bad families. There are those that are married, singled and divorced. There are people with religious training and people who have never even prayed before. There are kind people and mean people. There are people who are sexually pure and those that have performed perversion. There are all kinds of people. Jesus healed them all.
God desires greatly for us to receive our healing. Jesus took 39 stripes on his back so that we could be healed. Jesus will never say no to your healing. If Jesus wanted to say no, he wouldn’t have had to take one stripe. He didn’t take stripes on his back to say no, he took the stripes so that he could say, YES! Pray this prayer out loud and believe God for healing.
Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus. I give you thanks that by your stripes I was healed and I receive it now by faith. I speak God life and resurrection power into my body to make me whole from the top of my head to the soles of my feet for the glory of God. I release my faith for it and count it as already done in the name of Jesus. Amen.
